Maddi and Steve’s Botanica wedding was a celebration of color, sunshine, and summer romance. Their June palette combined vibrant pastels—peach, lilac, butter yellow, and soft blue—to create a joyful, garden-inspired atmosphere that felt both timeless and modern. Their wedding design was all about embracing the warmth and energy of the season, with flowers that reflected the easy happiness of their personalities and the beauty of a Southern California summer.
The ceremony took place beneath Botanica’s lush canopy, surrounded by greenery and filtered sunlight. Clusters of bright, airy blooms framed their vows in a way that felt natural yet refined. We used playful, layered color to echo the couple’s lighthearted spirit—pairing buttery garden roses with lilac delphinium, fluffy ranunculus, and a hint of citrus-toned blooms for contrast. The result was a floral story that was alive with motion and warmth, perfectly complementing the tropical garden backdrop.
Botanica Wedding Vendors:
For the reception, we designed an inviting tablescape that carried the same summery vibrancy into the evening. Tables were styled with bud vases, taper candles, and soft greenery to create a relaxed, elegant flow. Each arrangement was built to feel organic and effortless, as if the flowers had simply grown into place. The mix of pastel blooms against the venue’s natural wood and greenery created a scene that was as joyful as it was refined—exactly how Maddi and Steve wanted their guests to feel.
Designing at Botanica is always a treat for our team. It’s one of San Diego’s most beloved wedding venues, known for its serene setting, lush gardens, and naturally romantic ambiance. The property’s open-air ceremony space and shaded reception areas make it a dream location for colorful, seasonal floral design. For Maddi and Steve, we wanted the flowers to enhance that environment rather than compete with it—each stem carefully chosen to reflect light and bring out the color story of the day.
Every detail reflected Maddi and Steve’s radiant energy—proof that color and romance are a perfect match for a summer wedding at Botanica. The mix of playful tones and sophisticated design captured the essence of Feral Rose’s “wild yet refined” approach: natural beauty elevated through thoughtful composition.
