Florals- Feral Rose
Leila and Art’s wedding was a testament to elegance, patience, and trust. Set on Point Loma’s historic military base, their celebration featured an all white floral design that felt timeless, intentional, and quietly powerful. What began with pouring rain transformed into a luminous ceremony as the clouds parted just in time, creating a moment that felt both dramatic and deeply meaningful. The florals reflected that shift beautifully, soft, refined, and calm after the storm.
The ceremony design focused on layered white blooms with natural movement and texture. We used a mix of classic and seasonal flowers to create depth without distraction, allowing the setting and the couple’s vows to take center stage. Against the muted tones of the base and the freshly washed landscape, the white florals felt especially striking, glowing in the light that followed the rain. The result was an atmosphere that felt serene, romantic, and grounded in simplicity.
Despite the unpredictable weather, the day unfolded with grace. The rain added a sense of anticipation and emotion, making the moment the sun emerged even more unforgettable. That contrast became part of the story, one we leaned into through soft floral shapes and an airy, organic design style that felt effortless rather than overworked. Every arrangement was created to feel natural in the environment, as though it belonged there all along.
For the reception, we carried the same restrained elegance throughout the space. Tables were styled with cohesive white arrangements that brought continuity and calm to the celebration. The florals were intentionally understated yet impactful, designed to enhance conversation, connection, and the intimacy of the evening rather than compete with it. Candlelight and soft textures added warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt both elevated and deeply personal.
Designing for Leila and Art was about honoring simplicity and meaning. An all white palette leaves no room to hide, every flower, every shape, every placement matters. This design was a study in balance and restraint, proving that minimal color can still carry incredible depth and emotion when done thoughtfully.
Their wedding was a reminder that beauty does not require excess. Sometimes it is found in quiet moments, shifting skies, and the trust to let things unfold as they are meant to. Leila and Art’s day was timeless, heartfelt, and luminous, a celebration defined not just by how it looked, but by how it felt.
